An 18-bed critical access hospital, 25-bed long-term care unit, and a provider-based physicians’ clinic serving Stanton County Kansas and the surrounding area.
The hospital engaged with Murray Company to help lead the facility and community in master planning exercises to determine the future of healthcare in Stanton County. With voter support for the bond, the hospital expanded by 35%, and all existing spaces were renovated. The project team included hospital administration and board, medical staff, architects, engineers, city officials and Murray Company. Collaboration within this team of stakeholders ensured the best decisions were made for patients and the community and that funds would be used judiciously for the best outcome for care options. Work was completed in 2012 and the hospital is the provider of choice for the area. |
