Saint Luke’s Health System includes 18 hospitals and campuses across the Kansas City region, home care and hospice, behavioral health care, dozens of physician practices and a life care senior living community.
Renovating often reveals the root cause of structural or water issues. This was the case at St. Luke’s when Murray was selected for a straightforward clinic renovation. The wood frame roof needed modifications and Murray was able to offer solutions to several other structural challenges that were uncovered during the renovation. Even with these difficult conditions, Murray was able to save the hospital 7% with these alternative solutions that offered cost savings without compromising patient care. The lobby was renovated to bring in more natural light and the vestibule was configured to improve handicapped accessibility. Work was carefully phased and a temporary entrance was created while the lobby was renovated. |
